Just replaced tumble dryer & no idea what to do with old one. belt snapped & needs new drum. motor still runs so assume thats ok.

In england just put things by gate & within an hour or so its gone. but no idea if get scrap dealers like that here as not seen them.
In ayia napa apartment if left anything next to bins they got taken. could put it by bins at end of road but dont want to if going to be left there

In Oroklini too. Everything we put outside the house in is taken straight away: satellite dishes, old u/s laptop etc. A scrap dealer with a big van collects stuff, presumably for recycling.

The supplier of your replacement machine has the obligation to take it away for WEEE disposal, free of charge.

bought new 1 from stephanis & had delivered. didnt think to ask about old 1.

live at end of cul-de-sac so dont get anyone driving past house. but could try leaving by communal bins at top of road

Honestly, I would just leave it by the bins! It will go! A different issue for defunct air con, fridge freezers of course....they contain harmful gases...which of course a tumble dryer does not.
