This beautiful service is due to take place this coming Sunday evening 17th December , 6pm at St Johns Deryneia which is hosted in the pretty Orthodox Church of St Fanourios located next to Derynia cemetery . This is a lovely service with the Church lit by dozens of candles just like Churches were lit in ages past. Start your final week before Christmas by coming along to this traditional service with readings and carols for you to join in and enjoy singing.
Everyone is invited to come along, there is plenty of parking and after the service you are welcome to stay and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies.
A reminder on how to get to St Johns. Travel out of Deryneia on the Freneros Road heading towards Freneros, just after the 2 euro shop turn left and then almost immediately right, travel straight along this road until you see the white Church on your right. drive through the gates to the car park and you have arrived.
