Hi Adam, I hope someone responds to your question, cos I'd like to know the answer too.
We're buying an apartment in Kapparis and we want to provide an info pack for anyone who stays in it, so they know what to do in an emergency.
So we'd like to know how it works for tourists.
Does the E111 cover them for hospital treatment, and is this restricted to certain types of treatment?
Does the Parallimni General Hospital (at Dherynia) have an Accident and Emergency Department? Is it open 24/7? Can you just turn up for treatment, as you would in the UK?
How does it work if you can't get yourself to the hospital - how do you get an ambulance - do you phone the hospital direct or an emergency number?
If you didn't need hospital, but just needed a doctor to call at the apartment - can anyone recommend a good doctor in the Kapparis area?
Finally, can anyone recommend a good dentist in that area, for emergency treatment. Phew, so many questions .....
