today england saw a massive turnout for the funeral of pc keith palmer. which i'm sure we'd all hope gave his family pride at a very sad time.
he died doing his duty as a police officer.
he sacrificed his life where he was posted. which happened to be a very high profile location.
i just hope that the families of all those other officers who have been murdered over time across the country, equally in the line of duty, don't feel belittled because their loved ones weren't accorded the same scale of send off.
their sacrifice was no less. i hope they can feel equally proud even if less nationally acknowledged.
