Does anyone have a solid recommendation, please? I'm looking for a local firm so it's easier to visit them if necessary. I can only find a couple mentioned on here, one of which people are saying to avoid. Yesterday I went on the website of the other firm and got several phishing pop-ups, which doesn't give me a lot of confidence.
Anything helpful gratefully received!

We first used Kouzalis Law Firm when we purchased our property some years ago and we have used them ever since.
They are on April 1st Street (just past Pet Parade)

Hi Steve

I suggest you instruct one of the lawyers on the

You should also be aware that a few years ago one of the law firm operating in the area was struck off the list and subsequently banned from this forum.

Thanks for the list - I'll have a look through. Not quite sure what I can take from your comment in view of it's anonymous nature, though...?

I agree - Stelios attended the PICAS meetings and helped quite a few facing difficulties of one sort or another with their properties.

Cheers,

If buying in Paralimni area you would be wise to use a solicitor out of the area.

Agree with that, mind you that didn't help either when we bought 16 years ago.

We got ours from Nicosia.

Just wondering the reason you both think that please?

Mainly for conflict of interest. If you are buying from a developer, I would strongly advise going out of area.
We used one in Paralimni and are still trying to sort out the mess 12 and a half years on.
We now have an excellent solicitor in Limassol.

That was the original reason why we chose from outside the area.

Unfortunately our Lawyer from Nicosia didn't check to see if there was Planning Permission, Or perhaps he did and received the normal brown envelope.

We are still without Planning permission and we bought in 2002.
