The charity had been struggling to purchase the device – which costs
€1,785 – and gives cancer patients freedom of movement by providing
‘continuous subcutaneous administration of medicines’ when other routes
are inappropriate or no longer effective.
Following the sudden passing of ECL member Pam Gardener in April this
year, the ECL fundraised in her memory, and was able to purchase the
device, which was presented to Barbara Pitsillides of PASYKAF... [
