What's your forecast for how high it will go - or can you see it falling back?

1.354 presently available on CF Smile Whether it continues to rise or not will depend what happens later in the week, hopefully it will continue to rise.

Oh no! This guy quotes 1.37, but predicts sterling will weaken by the end of the week?

Yes. That's what I said, see the link in my post above yours ... 1.37 breached comfortably. And still available at the close of trading.

I know what you put, but you putting "this guy quotes" but in reality it was 1.37 not a quote is all I meant...

Just exchanged a few bob with Currency Fair and got a rate of 1.3691!

And, if memory serves me well, that's around 3 cents higher than when we entered the Eurozone on 1st January 2008! Smile

Happy days!! Very Happy

It's good for us owners / holidaymakers coming out to cyprus too Very Happy

We need cash to pay for maintenance work on the property, a lot of it...plus we have paint and woodstain and sunloungers to buy...suddenly that's all become a little cheaper!

Just waited for the right rate and ordered and got it delivered to my front door the next day, free delivery too, the rate I think was 1.355 when I got the euros last week so took the chance, I'm sure it may go up a little bit more, but it's more likely to drop before May when we arrive there...

Just not a good time to sell property IF you need to exchange to sterling...you could lose quite a sum.
