Hi all,
Hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas, and Boxing day.

Regarding the meeting arranged for the 2nd of January, I am cancelling this meeting, for various reasons. We have nothing arranged for January for one thing, also the meeting is too near Christmas and New Year. A lot of members are still in England on that day, so next meeting will take place on our usual last Friday in the month, therefore the meeting will be on January 30th at 2pm at the Magazaki restaurant.

Pat and I would like to wish you all a very happy new year in 2015!

I would still like to get a committee formed, any volunteers! I would also still be interested in any new ideas for , meetings, outings , places to go etc, any thoughts you may have on this will be appreciated.

Best wishes to all

Hi everybody,

I have cancelled the meeting due on Friday this week.
I am unhappy in the way things are going. I started this group in July last year, since which we have had several meetings, and two very successful outings , one for a Christmas Buffet meal, and also a Christmas meal at Lavezin tavern.

We had only twelve people at the last meeting we had, after about 30 or so at the previous one. I cancelled the December, meeting because it was too near Christmas. I have had only a couple of people get in touch with me directly by email! I have asked several times for help in forming a committee, only one gentleman offered to help form a committee. I know a lot of people are still away in England, so maybe we will have more people at the next meeting!
I have been unable to sort out an outing or venue for an evening or day out for February, although the lady who is willing to help with outings, coaches etc, will be back in March.

I need some help to keep this group going, I cannot do it all by myself any longer, and look forward to the next meeting and the organisation of a committee!

Best wishes to all.
