Last time we visited, I noticed that there is a new road heading East to the Karpas. Is there any way to travel on the old, seaside roads? I feel we missed an awful lot of chances to go for a dip last time, and would like the chance to stop and sit o the beach for a break.
Visiting Kyrenia area for 3 weeks in July, and want to do a bit more than just sit by the pool.
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

the subject of travelling to the north is a sore one to many here.
i suggest you buy a map on the other side and ask those that live there.

TRied to email, but I havent made 5 posts, so not allowed direct contact!
Not sure the best way to do this now...unless I do another couple of posts, then get back to you. Thanks for the offer of help, I remember going up the coast road back in 1980 whenI was there with UN, so got a bit of a shock by the new road. My misses wasnt to pleased as I had told her what a lovely drive it was, it was still a nice drive, but not as nice as it could have been, and maps seem to be like hens teeth.
Thanks again,
Mark
