REMEMBERANCE SERVICE SUNDAY NOV 10

hi all just to inform you this years service will start at 08.30 at the military cemetery Dhekelia 08.30 lay poppy crosses 08.50 form up 09.00 padre to start service last post/reveille laying of wreaths all to be finished by 09.30 then retire to CESSAC quick cup tea then all who are going to the main service to be seated in the church by 10.30 hrs

There is a service in the Church, don't know any more details though.

The service at Ay Nik is only for military or entitled personnel and is ''behind the wire'.

Not sure then Sue, maybe the military are having their own one and then there is a general one in the church. We're going to the Military one on the parade ground and Simon the new Padre is taking the service as I was talking to him about it 2 weeks ago so don't know who would take the one in the church.

Isn't the parade on Armistice Day, Monday 11th November, with the Church service being on Remembrance Day, Sunday 10th November?

We've just been to,d the Remembrance Service on Sunday 10 will be in the main church outside the wirefor everyone to attend, the same goes for the fireworks, that is now open to all on Wednesday 5th November.
