ALIX NORMAN meets a group of women who have put their heads and recipes together to produce a fund raising recipe book
Sometimes you meet a group of people who you feel could, if they wanted, change the world. Luckily for politicians everywhere, my four interviewees this morning have set their sights a little lower. These four, along with two absentee fellows, are all members of the Eastern Cyprus Ladies group and, driven by charitable impulse, have given over the last nine months to the process of creating, compiling and publishing Food For Thought, a book of recipes to raise funds for the Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF). We only have 18 recipe books left after a very successful day selling them at Cessac Christmas Fayre.
If you haven't already bought one please do. They're printed in Greek and English and are full of delicious recipes.
Why not buy a few for Christmas presents, they only cost €7 each.
Many thanks
Carol

What a brilliant project - well done to all concerned.
500 books don't sound much though - any plans for a reprint?
Geoff.

Hi Geoffreys, no there'll be no reprints as any future printing costs will have to come out of the profit we made. We said from the outset that once the 500 were gone, that's it.
