Hi

My wife is diabetic and we need to know if she will be able to get 45mg PIOGLITAZONE when we move over, does anyone here take this? I sent an eMail to last week but I haven't had a reply yet. When we were in Cyprus we tried a couple of pharmacies but were unable to find a stockist. I have another eMail address to try but thought that I would ask here as well.

Tony,

Many thanks for your posting - we do have members who are diabetics
and who may be better able to answer your questions than me but
here are a few links that may be helpful:

http://www.easterncyprus.com/viewtopic.php?t=2838
http://www.easterncyprus.com/viewtopic.php?t=2892
http://www.cyprus-mail.com/news/prics.html
http://www.rxlist.com/

The first two contain prices and information - the third may be a more
up-to-date list of medications and the fourth may contain an alternative
to the medication.

Hope that's of some help.

Cheers

Steve

I am a diabetic on insulin and moving to Cyprus very soon. I was recently over there and I went to the hospital pharmacy to find out if they had my insulin, they don't but was told not to worry about it as the doctor will find something similar for me
