Hi there is a heated 25m indoor pool at Ay Nik that you can use depending on where you are, it also has lots of classes going on just pop down for a timetable.

I'm sure there is a fitness / osteopath centre with an indoor pool just outside Avgorou on the road to the green line, can't recall any more info but I'm sure someone from the village will have more details.

Thanks very much for both replies,

i had heard about the pool up at ay nik, but wasnt sure if it was open to non base ppl, was thinking it would be a bit busy and noisy for what i need at the moment..

fitness / osteopath centre in avgorou, now that sounds good and could just be what i am looking for

if anyone in avgorou can give any more info, would be much appreciated, especially directions or even better a name or telephone number ...

Coming from Liopetri to Avgorou, after speed bumps you'll come to a staggered junction, left then right to go across. Then turn right on main drag through village, passing the clock/thermometer on your left. Keep straight ahead, passing the Frenaros turning, and carry on past the bathroom fitters shop, on you left, and about 1km further along, on your right is what you're looking for. There is a sign on the left for Magaris car breakers. Any problems, message me and I'll meet you at guide you there.

thanks for the recent replies, although i have recovered now but i will keep a note of the directions for future use because i am not doubting it will happen again (sciatica, and pelvic bone locked up)

and i actually came across a leaflet 2 days ago for this place and it does look like the kind of place i was needing but the leaflet did not show the location so thanks Alan
