I don't post very often on the forum, apart from my daily photo's because they don't cause arguments or back biting.
After a nice day out with my son and his girlfriend at a geo-cache event, we travelled on to walney island at Barrow. As we walked along on the grass above the beach i noticed a new bench that wasn't there a couple of months ago when we were last there. When we reached the bench we just stood in silence and read the inscription, it puts everything into perspective partly because my son is ex army.

It may be that we just missed it in the past, but i'm glad we found it.
Makes a lot of the stuff on here at the moment pretty meaningless eh ?

May he now be resting in peace
God bless.

Aww Phil, it was so sweet of you to post this and you're words are so right. It does indeed bring everything else in to perspective. Thank you.
