Very sadly: forever unless countries such as the USA, and American States such as Colorado, change their gun laws.
From the BBC website:
"Colorado gun laws
Residents allowed to keep guns in homes, offices and vehicles, but can only carry them in public with a permit
There are no limits to how many guns can be bought a month, and the state permits sale of automatic weapons
No waiting period for buying a handgun, both state and federal state law requires criminal background checks
Since 1998 Columbine massacre, 20 miles from scene of Friday's shooting, it has become easier to buy guns in US - a national ban on assault weapons sale expired in 2004"
Very sad indeed but the UK has had too many incidents like this with much stricter gun laws.
I think part of the problem is whoever does this is immediately on the front page everywhere, name, age, history. Analysed to the n'th degree.
Made notorious and infamous. Just what inspires the next nutter thinking of doing the same copycat crime.
I think their name, photo, any mention of them should be banned.
Executed if not already dead, cremated and forgotten.
