While travelling in Limmasol and passing a sad looking puppy in a small cage outside a pet shop (of all places), I could not just drive by and leave it there, now not being a dog lover you can imagine what this took on my behalf.
Now 75 pound later (including bits and pieces and vet visit) we have a lovely playful little nearly 3 month old puppy (no-one seems to know the breed).
NOW this is where you lot come in the little so and so will not stop FOULING ALL over the place both wet and solid.
Not having dogs before we are in desperate need of training methods, we have the floor nappies and the so called special smell to attract him but nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions including strangulation will be most welcome.
I used a pen to put my dog in when he was a puppy. You can buy puppy pens but we just got something from the DIY place, same thing and cheaper. At night put the puppy in with newspaper. They don't like to soil where they sleep and at most all he did was a wee in one corner. Make sure you put the puppy outside a lot during the day and evening and everytime he does his business give him lots of 'good boy/girl' lots of cuddles and a small training treat. Also you will have to get up early for a little while to put the puppy out immediately. He/she will soon learn. Good luck and it's so nice to hear what a big heart you have.

thats the best idea with a cage and when he feeds put him outside and as soon as he wakes up do the same then make a fuss of him also be prepared for the next part which is teething this is where the cage is a good thing again and make sure he as plenty of toys to play with then he can have a good chew on them and good on you for taking him in
