The walk will be a 7 km Grade 1 circular walk over a mixture of dirt roads, pavements and coastal path
We will be starting the walk from just after the Kermia Beach Hotel and walking up hill across country until we reach Agios Paraskevi church, from here we make our way back towards the coastal path and our refreshment stop. Then after refreshments its back to the start point.
We have to cross Kermia beach on the way back so NO dogs allowed.
Meet up point will be at STEKKIS snack bar at Ammos tou Kampouri beach

Take the Ayia Napa coast road until you pass the Limnara Fish restaurant on your RH side and Kermia Beach Hotel on your LH side.
Turn left just after the Kermia Beach Hotel and continue along this road for approx 1.3 kms when you will see a sign pointing to the beach . Take this turning and the snack bar is just at the bottom of this dirt road.
From the Cornish Pasty Mine go up the road ( away from harbour) and up the hill passing Grecian Sands Hotel on your RH side, continue on this road along the coast and approx 0.5 kms after you pass the Blue Palm Sunset restaurant you will see the sign pointing to the beach
Take this turnng and the snack bar is just at the bottom of this dirt road
This is an approx 7 kms Grade 1 circular walk going from Green Bay to Konnos via the coast path and return by roads. The walk is over a mixture of dirt, rock and pavements, its mainly flat with the exception of a small distance just after Cyclops Cave but nothing too difficult
There is one small beach which can be bypassed so it will be a dog friendly walk , you will just have to sit outside at refreshment stop.
The refreshment stop will be at Konnos Bay.
Meet up point is the To Ellinadiko Taverna
Meet up time 9 30 -- 9 45 am
Set off to drive the short distance to walk start point 10am

Take the Protaras to Ayia Napa road and the taverna is on your right hand side just before you get to Green bay, its a white and blue building with the name on a big sign on the roof.
From Ayia Napa
Take the Ayia Napa to Protaras road and its on your left hand side just a little after Green Bay, its a white and blue building with the name on a big sign on the roof.
This taverna has agreed to open early for us so please show your appreciation by having a tea /coffee
Its a Grade 1 walk of approx 8kms over mainly dirt roads , with a refreshment stop at the Potamos which is the half way point
This is a dog friendly walk.

Coming from Napa take the turning for Xylofagou and continue up the road towards the village, you go past Orphanides on the left and next on left is DIY and Tyre shop , just past on right is Deep Purple and there is parking outside.
Coming from Vrysoulles , Avgorou , Frenaros
When you get to the traffic island in the centre of village turn left continue down the road and you will pass O Klokkos restaurant, continue until you see a junction on right and DIY shop on left Deep Purple on left. Painted purple and sign on top of building
A good day out yeterday up in the Troodos, the walk was on the Persephone trail. The smell of the pine forest was fantastic and the weather was great for both the walk and the picnic that followed.

It will be a flat circular Grade 1 walk of just under 8 kms from Dherynia to Frenaros cutting through the villages and open countryside.
The walking surface will be a mixture of tarmac, paths and gravel
It will be a dog friendly walk.
We will be meeting at the coffee shop in Dherynia Square called the Minallayia snack bar at 9:30 to 9:45am
We will then be driving a short distance to the start of our walk at 10am
There will be a mid point refreshment break somewhere in Frenaros

If you are coming from Frenaros go past the 2 euro shop and before you get to the traffic lights you will see a sign for Dherynia Folkloric Museum , turn left here and the coffee shop is just down on your left. If you turn left just after the coffee shop you will see plenty of parking spaces by the church in the square
If you are coming from Paralimni
Just after the traffic lights at Dherynia you should see the sign for the Dherynia Folkloric Museum , turn right here and the coffee shop is just down on your left. If you turn left just after the coffee shop you will see plenty of parking spaces by the church in the square. (If you get as far as the 2 euro shop you have missed the sign)
We will be walking from Xylofagou to Liopetri cross country and back.
The walk will be a Grade 1 flat walk of just over 8kms. The walking surface will be dirt roads and tarmac.
Meet up point Blue coffee house Xylofagou 9 30am to 9 45am

Refreshment stop at mid point in Liopetri

Take the first motorway exit for Xylofagou, drive up into village until you come to the traffic island, 1st exit on turn left down the narrow road and you will see a car parking area by the big church, The blue coffee house is just a couple of doors down from The Chill Bar.
From Avgorou / Vrysoulles
Drive into village centre and you get to the traffic island, take 2nd exit left at island down narrow road and you will see a car parking area by the big church, The blue coffee house is just a couple of doors down from The Chill Bar.

It will be an evening walk of approx 1 hour duration along the Kavos nature trail Cape Greko. This will be a Grade 2 walk on dirt and stone paths. There are a few uneven rock steps for about 5 minutes of this walk but anyone who can climb stairs should have no problem.
There are some fantastic views as you go around the cliff paths
Meet up point will be The PYRILLIS restaurant which overlooks Konnos Bay
hi all, thought id pop on the site and see what walks im missing, still walking in sunny Scotland, oopsss raining Scotland think since i got back we had 10 days of sunshine, Im of to walk west highland way next month its around 96 miles and hoping to do it in 5 days , camping along the way, nto carrying the tent, i have a company to drop of along the way ,
Early evening is a much better time to start the walks this time of year, the bench at the top of the " rock steps" was a welcome sight for some.
