Following appeal, the Football League removed Gary Breen's 3-match suspension for 'elbowing' Thompson last Saturday.
They reviewed video evidence and listened to evidence from Cardiff's player who stated that he believed it was accidental.
However, the red card stays on the player's and club's records!
Would have thought he was either guilty (=suspended) or innocent (=red card rescinded), but that's committees for you.
