The weather couldn't be better here in Wales, not a cloud in the sky and the temperature on saturday reached a balmy 20 deg c, practically unheard of in these parts!
We saw our first swallow yesterday, not as good as seeing the bee eater's in Cyprus but we love to see their arrival here as for us its a sure sign winters finally over.
Halleluha - it's seemed such a long cold miserable winter in the UK and we too have something strange in the sky over Merseyside - big round yellow ball throwing out some heat and a blue sky as well. Make the best of it, could disappear as quickly as it appeared!!!
Here in Southport the weather has been lovely for the last three days. Bright and sunny but cool out of the sun.
Just had a walk in the Botanic Gardens and they were packed with families enjoying the good weather and the last day or so of the school holidays. It was nice to see the children able to play out and not be cluttered up with coats and hats.
Hope this is the sign of the summer here in the UK for those staying home and coming here on holidays.
