Yes, you're correct. That's exactly what you should be doing i.e. 2nd queue on the left at registry If your appointment is later in the morning, you will not have to queue as long as I've noticed that the earlier the appointment, the longer the queue is and there is no ticket system so people will try to queue jump too.
Anyone making appointments will have to use this queue so my advice is to make the appointment for as late in the day as possible lol!
You only need the ticket queues if you need to see the GP or a referral to a consultant surgeon for which there is no appointment system.
Lastly, there are some departments that operate independently of registry such as gynecology whereby you have an appointment made and turn up at that department at the required time without the need for registry etc. Can be confusing so always make sure you ask.
