is there anybody out there who has bought an apartment at this lovely new development? We'd really like to get to know our neighbours.

We bought in Dias last October, a one bed apartment for rental, we are really impressed with our purchase as we have not seen another build like it . What have you bought there? and when did you buy?

Fantastic! I've been checking nearly everyday to see if we are still ALONE! We staked our claim in January, though still haven't got the keys yet as the bank's been slow with the mortgage. We're on the ground floor no 3 - whereaboiuts are you?

We went over in January specifically to buy a 2-bed for rental - we didn't have a lot of time to look but these apartments immediately stood out as having the "WOW" factor.

When are you going out again? We are planning to go out on 23 April to furnish the place, and maybe even have an apartment-warming if we can find anyone to invite:-)

We have number 15, which is above number 4, also our neighbours have bought a two bed, there are quite a few Brits on the complex ,last time we enquired there where only 4 or 5 apartments left. We are going back to the UK in April for a couple of weeks but should be back before you go home.

We had the keys at the end if December for our first rental ( even though it was family) but they certainly were a good test for future rentals.

Which dates will you be back in residence in Cyprus? We'll give you a knock and introduce ourselves.

Do you know how long it will take to sort out the electricity? We didn't realise that the first two days of our stay are bank holidays, so that's going to delay us by two days, and there is a further bank holiday the following week, but we need to get everything sorted before we return to the UK otherwise we won't be able to rent at all this season (assuming we have people wanting to rent of course!).

We should be back around the 20th April.

As far as I remember the electric board told us it would take 10 days to connect but it is usually less, you have to take your contacts with you to register.

Thanks for the update. Is the water in the pool yet?

We have a hosepioe ban where we are, they say we are experiencing the longest dry spell for thirty years, however, ever since they announced the ban, it hasn't stopped raining so we don't really need a hosepipe!

We spent last weekend in the apartment and yes the pool has now been filled. Our neighbours we there to, so we went for a nice dip Saturday morning, it was great just the 4 of us in the pool. Still have to keep on to them for little things, like they have not yet put the steps in the pool, showers are not fitted yet, plus a few other problems. Hopefully this will be resolved by the end of the month. We will send you a couple of photos on your e-mail of the pool if you want. We'll keep you updated. Hope you are both well.

Hi all at Dias

Not sure if anyone can help I am looking for a rental 20 Aug - 3 Sept (14 nights) for my sister and her husband. We were dissappointed that Sharon's apartment was already booked at this time but if anyone has thiers available for these dates could you please let me know ASAP.

I live at Paralimni Sands and the visit is for my husband's 50th surprise birthday party so Dias is the ideal place really, being far enough away without bumping into each other before the event!!! and close enough after!

Unfortunately (due to a lot of feet-dragging by other parties) we were unable to take possession of our apartment on our last trip so it won't be furnished in time for the dates you wanted otherwise we would have been delighted for you to have been our first customer. However, I have seen another Dias apartment which might interest advertised on :

Happy to say that we are now sorted Very Happy

Good luck and wishing you many happy days when you finally move in, we have never looked back and not had any regrets since buying ours in 2002.
