Just to say what a lovely meal we had when we went - very nice restaurant as well.

Its not cheap, but for a special treat, well worth going.

Hi Donna,

Any clues to the location so others can sample the fare.

It will have to go a long way to beat Cambanellas & Hobos steaks, but we will give it a go sometime.

Oops sorry - its on the Dekhalia Road - opposite Masala's, near to the French Rendevous restaurant.

And I think its much better than Hobo's, but that's just my opinion.

No, that's the Rice Bowl chinese now and certainly best avoided! It's a couple of doors further along (away from Larnaca). I can't remember what was there before.

Could be wrong but suspect the thread is actually about the steak house on Dhekelia Road that's moved a little further down (Cambanella's/Campenella's? Sorry, I get the name mixed up with the one opposite Metro).

Christine

PS: Had a good steak at Panos this week too - washed down with some very nice red wine (just ask for their 'special red' and they'll know what you mean). Unless you have a very hearty appetite, don't bother with starters. Exclamation

Yep, as you suspected you are indeed wrong. Cambanella's are an "Argentinian Steak house", "Aberdeen Steak House" is..................err, well you can probably guess.
