Help! My son just informed me he is moving in with me NEXT MONDAY. Can anyone tell me what forms he has to have to provide medical cover over here? I think I read somewhere that Cyprus reclaims the cost of emergency treatment from the UK for the first 2 years with the relevant form. Any help would be appreciated, preferably by tomorrow please!

E106 for Dept. of Works and Pensions....providing he has paid enough NI contributions he should qualify for free health care for up to 3 yrs.

http://www.dwp.gov.uk/international/sa29/

Failing that the only other cover he would be eligible for is as a visiting tourist on a EHIC (European Health Card):

https://www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do

http://www.moh.gov.cy/moh/moh.nsf/index_en/index_en?OpenDocument

Hope this information helps and good luck with your son lol!

Please ask your son to call Dept of Work & Pensions in Newcastle as he needs to inform them he is leaving the UK - also inform his local tax office as he will most probably be due a tax rebate. E106 healthcover is only for 2 years.
