Hi all.

I would like to ask if anyone knows about the procedure/ expect costs to export a car from Cyprus into an EU Country, that is already out of the country, and with expired insurance/mot/roadtax.

The car has been out of Cyprus for around 5 years now (not driving of course), and my question is: Would tax of the past years have to be paid before starting the export procedure (if so what costs should I expect), and also would the car have to go back to Cyprus to be insured, and make mot?

Joining up the dots.....is the said car parked up in the North? If it is returning it to ROC it will cause issues. Best to export it from the North by ferry or container Via Turkey. Green Card required. If it is going back to the UK it's old identity V5 or copy would be helpful.

Google Container shipments Northern Cyprus to UK to find some information.

The car is in Europe (Poland), and it will be registered here, but still has Cypriot plates. Probably should also mention this car has been imported from Japan originally (don't know if this will make a difference)? As for the procedure, I mean for paperwork. What paperwork will I need, and can I do it online? (that would be awesome!!)
