The season starts tonight guys PL kicks off next week.
I think weíve made some wise buys, in so far that weíve got a few old wiser heads in the defence & we actually do defensive drills now. In Auba weíve got a class striker, could well be best in the lge Lacca is half decent as well. I think they can play together. Ozil looks remotivated & with Mkhi some brains behind them.
I like the look of Guendouzi (Douzi from now) a bit of grit & ability in M/F. Even Chech looks sharper, amazin what competition does to a team. The back 4 has to be better this season we canít leak goals againespecially away. If we tighten that up top 4 is doable. Everyone has improved bar Spurs who are in the position we were for 5-8 yrs. Chelsea are looking at Grelish who is their main tgt. Iíd go to Spurs above Chelsea any day, there does seem to be problems there, changing managers every other year is not good. But if Spurs donít add I think they may have problems. Like us, last season was not their best season.
Chelsea are what they are may have a great season or fall apart, next two weeks of the window is vital. Do they keep their players if not who comes in.
Liverpool had a great season & added to their team, Man C & Lípool gotta be favourites for top 2.
I think 3rd is possible if we improve our away form, surely it canít be as bad again & maintain our home form, which was very good last season. However this is really the first season of a rebuild, we have to forget the tinkering Arsenal done the backroom was very poor, tactically we were poor & would not invest properly. These things have been sorted, so think itís the start not the finish, weíve invested within the the club well a bit of patience & letís hope fir the kings of London itís a great season.
Good luck, but not too much, to all decent supporters on here & lets hope for a Brama season guys

Good luck for next season Saga mate.

From a Spurs supporter.

Whoever wins the title lets hope it goes to a North London Team.

However I do fear my team will lag behind as it looks like they will have to pay for the new stadium the same way as Arsenal have had to do over the last few years, by not spending any money in the transfer window, yet.

Good luck, but I will be very surprised if you are even near the top 4 again this season, unless you invest heavily you will never catch up with those above you.

Thanks guys I love our London clubs so letís hope we have a great season. Think you are right mouse. Itís very difficult when you build a stadium, look what has happened to clubs who have. So Levy is no fool & our 2 boards, (unlike some Ďsupportersí) are close,. So heís watched what weíve done. Any club in this position needs to invest very carefully for a long period. So good luck, youíve the best team youíve had in yrs.
Sugarray if you look from the last window & this we have invested plenty, check our home results against others they were very good, so the investment is good we are better organised thruout the club. With a stronger playing staff. So realistically we should do better. For me 3rd is doable.

Another win this time against Lazio beater 2-0. Pre season matches are what they are but this has been a good one for us.

So itís bye bye to Usmanov & we become a privately owned club. Not a good day for us traditional gooners.

This is what Kronke can now do to our club.
Force all other share holders to sell to him
No AGM, no accountability
Remove the individual Directors
Place debt on the club, we have been debt free since the 30ís apart from the stadium that we have worked so hard for the past few yrs to remove.
Plus this buy out is funded by a loan
Lastly is this the reason Gazidis wants out.
It seems to me all our hard work, all that Arsenal has stood for as a self financing club Ďthe Bank of Englandí club has gone.

Very sad if this is what happens, exactly what happened when the Glazers took over MUFC, went from being debt free to being massively in debt and to this day we are still in debt because of it.

Great for the neutral to watch but the defending from both teams was a farce, better finishing and you would have got something from this match. Looks like Cech will cost you points now, you need to invest heavily in your defence and a new GK.

Hi guys been very busy house hunting etc. So not been posting.
Yup itís a worry, but letís be honest, Arsen left us in a terrible state. From a source thatís involved in the game, the reason the medical staff left was down to the problems with Santi he nearly lost his foot because of the treatment. Dick Laws used to miss flights costing us signings, & a real lack of attention to defensive work, & some poor signings etc. These have been going on since Dein left. The problems are deep seated at the club, look at our performances last season some were abject. This wonít change in weeks.
I really didnít think the last 2 games would show much improvement. However if we had scored the shots we put behind, round & over the goal we could have won that game V Che,sea so there are some good things, itís no longer required to walk the ball into the goal. We are working harder. But the defence as danny says is woeful, to high a line at one point all they were over the half way line.
We lack speed in that area so play them further back, put Torerria & Guendouzi in front of them, that should hold the line better. I think heís asking them to do something they ainít geared for yet. We looked better with Montreal playing, bur Bellerin has to up his defensive game heís fast but needs to think more. This is why m/f & defenders make good managers they have to work it out before it happens.
The good shoots are there, but most of the season will be spent on getting the team sorted, theyíve had it too easy too long.
Gwen is my new favourite player 19yr Old with skill & vision a real find p, Torri looks solid & will grow into it, as Arsen said it takes a while for them too get used to the speed of our game. Auby & Lacca must start as so Myki. Ozil head is not there give him time on the bench that should shake it up.
The back 4 picks itselve blue to injuries, maybe try Leno in goal
After that Iíd play Gwen Tori in front of them. Thatís the spine of 7 try Mhyki sitting behind Aubang & Lacca but not such a high line that gives us a bit of stability along the back strength & vision in m/f & a quick free forward line.
But as Pep famously said a season or so ago, itís so hard in the PL.
Onwards & upwards gooners.
Least we ainít skint like the Midd,Essex club (joke proper spurs fans)

Firstly, there is still away to go defensively. That said his ideas are starting to show. I thought we were sharper than for a season or two, we turned & moved the the ball forward, yeah there was still sideway passing, but there should be at times. We chased & won the ball back better than I can remember us doing for a long time. We were quicker all round. I thought we were by far the better team & deserved the win. Put this against the Chelsea defeat & you see a team very much in transit.
Without doubt & iwobi played well, a much improved player this season, we were much better with Lacca on the pitch PEA & him work well. Guen again had a great game, yup he made mistakes but for a19yr old heís a great buy. Torre needs to start now he looks fit & knows what to do like to see him & Glen play together.
Lots of rumours around Ozil, for sure heís not right & not happy, we need him back letís hope whatever his problem is itís sorted. Maybe a couple of games on the bench may help get his hunger back.

At last he started with a Lacca & PEA upfront & it works Lacca especially had a great game. Again we are at least fighting for the ball & trying to get it back quick. But p,ease donít ask Chec to play outside of his skill set. He canít do that thru the keeper stuff. Thereís a time you may have to but not straight from the kick off!!!!! Defence was a tad better but still let 2 goals in, so it still needs working on.
Thought Gwen was good again but would like to see him with Torri alongside him. Ozil still isnít right so bench him till he gets his head right.
Importantly for us that are used to delays on players coming back is that Kosinski is 2 months in front of his time so thatís an improvement. Still along way to go guys but we are on our way.

Starting to look very likely that Gazidis is going, money talks. But Iím not sure we will loose too much, bearing in mind it was Arsen, that wanted him. Also Josh Kronke is looking for the right job & now his dad has full control maybe heís a shoe in.
Not much you can say about the game a bit of same old really second half was better, but we have a long long way to go yet.
