Harvey, Can you let me know where you heard of this. I arrive in the middle of the night with Lufthansa, the last time on the 21st Feb. and this is the first I have heard of any arrival charge.
Paul.

We are flying with Monarch and TFA (01753 685393 Colin) handle the pet side for them our Jack Russel cross is costing 410 with his own travel box, and I have been told by them today that we should only have to pay a small charge approx 25 Euros for hime in Larnaca( hope thats true) as the airline picks up the rest of the charges - only time will tell

Hi Harvey,

Just brought two cats with BA at about 422.18 with my own cages that I bought from cannine world online.

Arrived 7pm and paid BA Cargo in Larnaca 20 Euros for document handling and the Customs man about 60.86 euros. (Load of rubbish as the man was already working but you have to pay)

It was surprising easy though to collect them!

We even found some trolleys so we had easy transport from the customs building airside back to the luggage.

We were nervous as T5 had loads of problems and so we asked the check in staff if they had been loaded before we went into the gate.

They take the pet passport from you in UK and give back at Customs by the way.

Hope this help you Paul and Harvey.

Any other questions. - please personal message me.

Regards

Alan
