Justin,

Welcome on-board!

What age will your children be? What area will you be in?

Do you mean Private School Fees or costs involved with the local
Cypriot schools?

Let us know the above and someone should be able to help.

HTH

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

Many thanks for reply. Havnt decided on area completley yet either Larnaca or Aiya Napa areas. Children will be 11 and 4 ( plus baby ) I think private schools as my eldest has begged me not to send her to Cypriot school ( depending on price I might not tell her! lol) I look forward to your reply.

Regards

Justin

Here's the prices for Med high in Larnaca.
http://medhigh.com/link.php?id=262

Prices for Secondary education at the forces school in Dhekelia were roughly 5600/year sterling in 2006.

King Richard at Dhekelia doesn't have entrance exams.

Hi,

King Richard School, which is the army barracks one situated in Dhekelia
http://www.kingrichard.org/frontpage.html

You do have to pay but they do follow the national curriculum and you would take G.C.S.E exams there.

HTH

Med High has what it calls an entrance exam but they do have a large special needs department catering for behavioural and learning difficulties as well as gifted children. This would suggest that "the exam" is mainly for assessment purposes.
We are sending our daughter there in September in year1 High School as it is multi cultural, in the town and has long summer holidays.
The base school operates English term dates and is about 2k more expensive.
Hope this helps.
ps Med High also does English curriculum and exams.
