About time, theres quite a few expats who do airport transfers for cash, all fine, until there's an accident serious injury and no insurance, then the c**p hits the fan.

Problem with that is, do our taxis visit Tymbou?

I know people that use that airport, and they all pick up TC taxis at Pyla, have never heard of a Republic taxi being used, and when I go over, I have never seen a taxi from the Republic over there.

My thoughts are that the TC transport vans and taxis shouldn't be allowed to ship people from Larnaca to Tymbou. If people want to go there then they should be using the more inconvenient route, via Istanbul. There are two periptero's near me... Both 24 hours (from the airport to Kiti and Meneou).. There are so many TC transport vehicles my family refer to both locations as 'Turkstop'....
Ban these taxis at the very least.. Or better still, close the borders completely as the 'good will gesture' as they were set out to be certainly hasn't contributed in any way to a resolution
