Russia delivers more air defence equipment to Turkey

Russia flew a fresh shipment of advanced air defence equipment to Turkey
on Saturday, the Turkish Defence Ministry said, continuing to implement a
deal that is likely to trigger U.S. sanctions against a NATO ally.

The ministry said a fourth Russian cargo plane landed at the Murted air base
near the Turkish capital Ankara, a day after three huge Russian air force
AN-124 planes offloaded equipment at the base.

Washington has tried for months to prevent the deal, arguing that the

Not a good move by Turkey...but not let’s mention then Cypriot Attack Helicopters...which are Russian by the way..

I didn't know that Hudswell. Do you know how many and how old they are? Were the pilots trained in Russia and do these copters have Russian weapons?

You are of course correct Tibbsy, and a Turkey is playing a very dangerous game.

It does make you wonder. Who are these Russian missiles most likely to be employed against? Trying to figure out what goes on in Erdo's mind isn't easy nowadays. Confused

Then again. Given the UK is apparently set upon buying core elements of its next generation strategic communications system from the Chinese.............

I think the buying of these weapons has more to do with the Turkish Dictators , forward thinking re Israel, rather then any threat from Greece or Cyprus, its a message to his Hizbollah friends, saying, don't worry about Israel , I've got this.
