Agree with Blossom regarding the offside rule.
It managed for well over a hundred years before being tinkered with.
If ANY attacking player is in an offside position, then it's offside. Period.
It reminds me of a famous Cloughie reply:
"Interfering with play? If he's not interfering with play he shouldn't be on the bloody pitch!"
However, in the Aguero winner it wouldn't have mattered.
He was offside and the officials missed it, VAR would have disallowed it.

If that "impossible" involves money it is in old language "probable". I always used to dread the trials when you got put into probable and possible knowing full well the impossibility of swapping to the other bunch unless your team had influence. I have said for a long time the influence affecting refs could be money.

Imo they are not bent, possibly affected by the north south divide, possibly not as it is a big divide.

However some are incompetent beyond words and this is where the incompetence of the like of Mike Riley come to the fore. Imo he does not msee his faults but they are there for everyone to see and especially in the Man U Arsenal game where we lost our unbeaten run.

Even he I do not think is bent but incompetent the hell he is and it rubs off on his subordinates.
