49 dead in New Zealand mosque attacks

Forty-nine people have been killed and at least 20 wounded in shootings at
two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described the incident as a terrorist attack and
one of New Zealand's "darkest days".

A man in his late twenties was charged with murder and will appear in court
on Saturday morning, police confirmed.

Two other men and one woman were detained nearby and firearms seized,
Police Commissioner Mike Bush said.

He said one of those detained was later released, while officers were working
to understand if the other two were connected.... [

When I had children and then a grandchild it moved me somewhere to the right of Atilla the Hun. These events make me feel the same.
Whoever does this to whoever, should be tried and if found guilty, executed, cremated, ashes thrown away, and name stuck from public record. Also no films made about the event. This may go some way to stopping the next bar steward going for the record and fame. Seeing this person smiling for the cameras made my blood boil.
Paul.

Couldn't agree more with Santorini's comments; and let's not be insulted with discussions as to why the perpetrators did what they did, what kind of childhood they had and all the other outrageous "excuses" that the 'experts' and many others dream up in mitigation for what was an evil, cowardly, terrorist act.
