Morning
i am due to leave the Army after 24 years and will be going into a job on island its a Cyprus company so will be paying into the Cyprus national insurance
i will have a MOD pension, i also have bad knees

my questions is what medical cover do i get?
do i get NHS treatment here for free or do i have to pay?

any info would be great

Free treatment, will be based on your salary, if below the limit, then i think you will be eligible, as a foreign national Im not sure how Brexit will affect you, but that's another can of worms.

If you are below state pensionable age then you will need medical insurance as you are not entitled to reciprocal healthcare. You will need to pay into the Cypriot NI system for 3 years before you are covered.

New law coming on cyprus salary’s regards paying in to the state funds and still paying for medical care, prescription etc due to increase.
