I have a beautiful plot of land in Oroklini for which I got planning permission a few years ago to build 3 detached houses. I never built the houses, but I still have the architect drawings for all the houses. Does anyone know if there is a time limit on planning permissions or on drawings please?? Any advice/suggestions gratefully received. I want to sell the plot as soon as possible so any potential buyers welcome too!!!!

Planning permits are valid for 3 years. You can get an extension once started building if it is not completed.
Drawings don't expire.
If you had the permit a few years, then i would say they have expired.

In UK you have to make a start on the building before the time limit on the permit expires. However this can be done by simply digging out a small part of the foundations and either having an inspection visit ort submitting a photograph to the planning authority. Once that is done you can fill in the hole and the permission remains valid in perpetuity. I am not sure if the same applies in Cyprus but judging by the number of part built stuff around I suspect it does.

A planning permit lasts for 3 years. You can ask for a newel, but there may be other conditions applied depending on any changes to regulations.
