I am in Roma for a few days before touring Italy for a week, managed to find a great sports bar... packed out with Brits wearing their team shirts, and happy to see many Spurs fans there...on to the match, not pretty to watch Newcastle were hungrier then us,and could of won it on another day had the post and bar not stopped them, we got the tree points which was the main thing, as keeping up with the pack is the important thing in these early games, not really bothered about not buying any new players, you only want players who will improve the team, and our first eleven are hard to improve on, as for not getting Grealish, one know nothing individual wrote on here that Spurs were skint blah blah, wishful thinking from them, we offered 25 mill for an average kid with attitude issues more then fair, but Villla wanted 40 mill, keep dreaming.....going to be a great season , looking forward to moving into our new stadium the. Biggest in London and only second to Old Trafford in the country...... COYS.

Breaking news, the stadium build will be delayed for about a month, no big deal , safety issuers come before everything else, funnily enough I was talking to Brighton fan in Rome, and he told me he was looking forward to visiting the stadium where the under 23s were going to stage a match against Brighton before the official opening to test safety at the ground, just have to change flights now and wait to our first opening match. Taken from a West Ham forum...this post is from a West Ham fan, replying to the Muppets who claim Spurs are skint....The stadium budget sits outside the football club (separate company) it's funded by loans totaling 450m (don't believe the 1 billion BS much of that was land costs paid in full years ago) which will be converted into term bonds ... probably cost less in annual repayment than one top quality player's wages

Arsenal built the empty-crates at a time when the value of top football clubs was around 400m, the ground cost them almost six years of their entire income .... their playing squad was worth about 50% of the cost of the build ... it left them skint ...

Spuds are building at a time when clubs value is going through the roof, once the stadium is finished Spuds will be worth well over a billion .. their income will cover the stadium costs in less than three years .... their playing squad is worth 200% of the cost .... different times

Comparing the empty-crates to the toilet-bowl is just wishful thinking ... far from holding the Spuds back their new ground will propel them to the top table ...

N17 may be a ****hole but the rich like sitting in their Ivory Towers looking out on the peasants .... and the toilet-bowl is going to be one hell of an Ivory Tower ..

Good performance from the lads today, against a plucky Fulham side. I think they will stay up and I hope they do proper football club, ..... How much is Trippier worth, he has come on leaps and bounds since Poch has coached him, 6 points from 6 happy days, Man U next, will they bounce back after their poor performance or is Jose's antics causing problems in the Man U team, the look on Ed Woodwards face after the match says that Jose will be one of the first managers to get sacked especially with the three times champions league winner waiting for a new job....... as for the Kings of London Big game next Saturday, Woolwich and West Ham fighting it out for bottom spot....
