Nervy start but we got into the game and controlled it, one negative for me is Sterling getting the nod before Rashford, ...looked like he coudnt score in a brothel today, semi final ? who would of believed it before the tournament started? starting to believe we could do this. man of the match..Trippier all day long.

Blossom I swore I would never get involved with you again
But you talk rubbish once again a spurs player was man of the match rubbish
The man of the match was harry maguire followed closely
By the Man Utd midfielder who covered every yard of the pitch ten times
I thought he must have an extra lung oh and bye the bye
The worst player on the pitch by a country mile was deli Ali

Everything I've read and heard says that an Everton player was man of the match.

If you caught me speaking to god you would find fault with it
Pickford made one world class save the rest were all straight at him
Harry maguire. Made at least 15 world class interventions with tackles and headers he is not pretty to look at but it what he does he does first class
And without him today it would have been a different match
But then again you know more than me about football I think not
Pete

Toss up for MOM was Pickford and Lingard. as Pete said, Jesse covered every inch of the pitch and put in a nice cross for Ali to convert.Sterling useless again.

Only if you were trying to put God right on something you know more than him/her/them/it about and calling him an idiot. Rolling Eyes

Sorry, my psychic abilities are playing up a bit today - I hadn't realised you were merely giving your opinion rather than that which is recorded as actuality.

Yes, you possibly know more about football than me (but you've shown no evidence to support what you say) but (whatever the topic) I do try to let people know that what I write is my opinion, someone else's opinion (e.g. an opinion piece or letter in a newspaper), reliably reported or factual.

BTW, did you know that a penalty is only 13% successful when it is kicked straight down the middle, compared to 78% when kicked into the top right corned?

And you like Mr Spanky.

Totally agree about Sterling, not too sure who was MOM, no one really stood out, Trippier will have more of a test when facing Perisic but up to now he has been excellent. Thought we would get to the semis, totally no idea if we will get past that. This has been the best chance for years and years to progress, the draw has been so kind to us, which makes a change. Still fancy Belgium to win it but France are no mugs.

In the glorious sun on Sunday Harry maguire was voted man of the match
In the marvellous mail on Sunday Glenn noddles picked Pickford
Closely followed by harry maguire but being as it was Glenn noddles
He would defiantly asked that medium for advice and the first thing she
Would have said. Is anybody there
