I doubt that the Turkish Airforce would be daft enough to fly one of their slow planes into ROC airspace.
I know that USAF used to fly into airports/fields in the north not long ago, they would have NATO overflight permission although it would be a bit insensitive to do it at low level without a good reason.
Given the location of Oroklini, it would not be a problem for a Herc to make a lazy turn near the border before heading south.
A few years ago I saw a matt black Herc near Larnaca over the sea, low enough to see the crew, it had no visible numbers or markings and its wheels were up.

Just seen a memory on facebook from this day last year, my photos of a Hercules dropping paras over the proposed golf courde at Tersefanou.
Also saw one about an hour ago but very windy so might have aborted the drop. After dropping the paras they carry on then make a wide turn, come back and repeat until empty then returns to Larnaca for another load.
You might have seen it,s wide turn for the return run.
