Going to bring a bit of Cyprus to miserable wet, cold Scotland and have a go at Stifado (finally trying your recipe Sue )
Not being a fan of rice at all, suggestions what to serve it with would be appreciated.
Erm, can't think of anything...........

I never serve stifado with rice......
I always serve stifado with either roast potatoes, new potatoes or jacket potatoes and fresh veg (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans )........

As an alternative to rice, try cauliflower rice. Blitz cauliflower in blender and then fry for 3 or 4 mins in small amount of. olive oil.
Worth a try.
