I have two scooters to sell on behalf of family members who will be back in UK at time of sale, how do I sort the log book exchange out on their behalf?

You should ask at the local dvlc to be certain. I believe a power of attorney certified by the Cyprus High Commision would be accepted. If you know the mayor get the forms get them signed and produce them with an I'd card or passport and job done.

A Power of Attorney is a Royal Pain in the butt so try this:

Get the tom 9's sent to you, have them stamped by your local Muchtar, then take the documents to the DOT station in Dheryneia Industrial estate, if you use the Citizens Office it gets complicated with owners insurance certificates and other paperwork. Transfer the machines into your name then when you find a buyer the transfer will be simple. If you sell to a dealer, miss out transfer to your name and just give him the documents to finalise.
