Another tragic murder of a policeman in Paris.
Condolences to the families of anyone affected by these murders.
But are the IS claiming responsibility for every killing that happens outside Syria irrespective of how many people are killed? I find it difficult to accept that the IS feel that killing a few people at a time achieves the impact that they desire.
So sad.

IMHO ISIS have no idea who a lot of these people are. Their "Caliphate" and so-called army are in a pretty poor state nowadays and shrinking by the week. Atrocities committed by mostly lone Islamic nutters in the West, claimed by them, is just evidence of their desperation.

I was watching a news report from Paris this evening. A French 'expert' was discussing the IS claim and seemed to state that IS didn't even get the gun-mans name correct. The inference seemed to be that IS were, indeed, just claiming everything. I say 'seemed' as the persons broken English with a heavy French accent was a tad difficult to follow.

Yes, sure you're right. ISIS just lay claim to every act as being committed by one of their "soldiers" to keep the impression going of how strong they are.

There are others who claim everything for ISIS, too.

Borussia Dortmund bus bomber ‘is ISIS leader’

The news heaps further embarrassment on German chancellor Angela Merkel who is under attack for her “open door” refugee policy that brought up to a million refugees and migrants to Germany in 2015. Afghans and Syrians carried out terrorist attacks in Germany the following year.

Borussia Dortmund bus attack 'carried out by suspect to get rich - NOT terror-related'

Investigators believe the 28-year-old concocted the attack in order to injure as many players as possible in an attempt to get rich by speculating on the ensuing Borussia Dortmund share price collapse.

In a statement, the German federal chief prosecutor said the man is accused of attempted murder, inflicting serious bodily harm and causing an explosion.
