Happy new year Nigel. This old cherry again, apologies. We filled in, to the best of our ability, forms for VAT refund and took it along to the Citizens Centre along with as much paperwork as I could muster.

We have received a letter in Greek from Nicosia and the Citizens Centre are saying that two forms should be filled in by

A. The builder and

B. The architect

Our problem is that, as you know, we obtained our property after various court cases and possession orders. It is impossible for us to request the builder to fill in his form plus we understand that the architect left the country after the case.

We did include in our paperwork judgement plus possession orders and are unsure what to do next. Any advice please would be so appreciated. Many thanks

Hi Vee

I don't know what you can do about this - it's going to be impossible to get the documents signed by the contractor and architect.

There may be a way around the problem - perhaps Stelios could advise/help?

Regards,

Many thanks for the prompt reply as usual. Now this dratted flu has left me I feel stronger to visit Citizens Advice again. Will let you know progress as no doubt others have similar problems with this.
