Does anyone have any recommendations for Landlord insurance on a UK rental property? Just in the process of getting quotes, would appreciate some advice on what cover is essential and what is optional. Joyce

I use Paragon Advance and have been with them for quite a few years:
paragonadvance.com

The cover I guess depends on whether you are letting on a furnished or
un-furnished basis??

One thing I have found useful - though not related to the above is to
get cover for the plumbing, heating and electrics. British Gas & Homeserve
are the two I use but be aware that the first years prices are always the
cheapest. Worth swapping between the two to keep the price down once
the year is complete but it does give peace of mind if you are not in
the same country.

HTH

Cheers

Steve

Thanks Steve, I'll have a look on their website. Boiler is only I month old apparently so will have to check if they have any cover already on it. Joyce
