Wave This time in 2 weeks we will be nearly landing back in Cyprus WHOOPPEE

Hi Vinod & Chandrika

We own no.28 & forgive me if I'm mistaken but didn't you buy through SoldonCyprus?
I'm sure Gary & the gang mentioned you.

Look forward to chatting with you & meeting you.

We had a water pump added - yes you would have thought it would have been standard.

Best wishes

Bigal & Ruth

Forgot to mention . We have not got an extra pump as ours seems ok but neighbours a couple of houses down had very poor pressure in comparison and George had his men on there roof doing something. Don't know the outcome though.

Hello Vinod and Chandrika,

I'm wondering if we met you briefly in May? We are also buying through SOS and went for a meal with Denise and gang. I do remember an Asian couple sitting at the table next to us. I think Gary was at your table and we were sitting with John the driver.

Small world if it was you eh?

We are buying in Frenaros and can't wait to move out permanently.

Only 9 more sleeps for us - less for you Caroline -& we will be in the SUN.
Dancing
Bigal says it must be nearly time as I've started making lists & there are clothes etc all over the spare room. It will be nice to be able to leave most of our clothes out there this time - lets face it we won't be needing shorts & T-shirts in the UK over the next few months Laughing

I just hope I've shifted this rotton cold by next Wednesday.

Any other owners going to be at Anemomylos soon?

Ruth

Hi Carol, Tony and Rob,
You'll have to forgive us as we can't rememer names and might remember
faces if we meet. Certainly there were quite a few people at the The Secret
garden and you are right Gary was with us. Hope you all are well and you
get settled in Frenaros. Nice to hear from you and hope to speak again soon.

Hi Bigal
Nice to hear from you, I guess we are close neighbours but
I can't remenber anybody being there at no.28 in August so I
don't think we have met. Did you have the pump fitted after you found
the pressure to be low or at the beginning? Glad to meet you in forum
and looking forward to meet you there one day.

regards

Hi Caroline and Co.
Looking forward to meet you aswell in those nice sunny days which
we are missing. It would be interesting to know what George's men
were upto as I can't understand why the pressure upstairs is low.
How's the swimming pool not too cold I hope.

regards

Good evening Vinod & Chandrika

No we have not met you yet, we moved in June. Next week will be our first trip since then. The move was so hectic with so much to sort out, getting the house ready for potential lets etc.

We had the water pump fitted after about three days of hardly any pressure at all.

Hi Ruth
Forgotton what it's like to put cloths in the cases. Our cloths have to fit in the hand luggage. Once at Gatwick our handluggage bag was too large and we had to put it in a case and fill a plastic bag up with our cloths etc for the cabin Embarassed The bag was always accepted at Bristol airport. Looks like I will be getting a storm or two before you arrive to clear the dust then your bringing the good weather with you. See you soon.

Hello Bigal and Ruth,
Thanks for the reply. I think George should have mentioned
something about a pump when we visited whilst it being built but
he didn't and like you we found out after moving in. Shame really
apart from that i think the houses are very nice.
Speak to again soon.

Embarassed I think I may have posted this on the wrong place earlier! Embarassed

Can anyone tell me the location of this complex, I can't see it on the Kapparis.info site or the Google earth shortcut here - http://www.kapparis.info/ge/developments.kmz

Thanks

Hi Nat695

Anemomylos is on the outskirts of Paralimni. It doesn't seem to have made it onto google earth yet.

Do you know where Orphanides is? If you travel up the hill from Protaras to Paralimni Orphanides is on your left. Carry on to the turning with Elizantre furniture on the corner. Turn right here. Take the first left. Follow this road till you reach the complex which is on the left before a sharp bend with a "Stop" sign. The road is Foti Pitta

Its "sister" complex's are opposite & behind it.

HTH

Nat... I live in Birmingham, UK, so rely on others to let me know where their developments are. And it doesn't help that the satellite images are three or four years out-of-date.

Ruth... is it here ? If so, I can add it to the map. If not, can you help in correctly locating it?

Thanks, Marion

Ruth,

I know where Orphanides is. Is the complex where Marion has indicated?

Thanks,

Hi Nat

I've now been told that it is here - just a little off in my original!

Well done Marion Smile

Your second "here" is spot on. The google image must be very old as that whole area is a lot more built up than the image shows. I hope you can now add it to your "Complex" info.

We love our little piece of Cyprus and can't wait for our next visit in June & our retirement to Anemomylos next year.

Nat if you want to see photos of the complex & the houses visit my website.

Ruth,

The complex looks great and so does your house.

I'll pop in and see if there are any FOR SALE signs up when I'm over in a few weeks. If you know of any please let me know.
