Went to retauarant at Mackenzie- just before Varishiotis and Koullis Fish Restaurants and on the other side of the road (posher looking one with name written in Greek and NOT the newer one on the corner where the playground area is).
Meze was a disgrace- actually left hungry and after the dips, salad, all we got was 2 sheiftalia, 2 meatballs and a couple of pork and lamb chops- it was absolute rubbsh so would not recommend whatsoever.
The only meze i've had worse than that was at Bamboo Restaurant, Xylo.
If anyone knows of good recommendations Dhekelia way for meze (i know Kantara is good) would appreciate it as now Marcos gone I am stuck!!
The restaurant I would recommend, but is not Dekalia way but is on Mackenzie, is the Lebanese by the name of Habibi, (translation: my darling), awwww
We had a meze there that consisted of no less than 27 dishes, that included the dips and salads. We didnt eat anything until the next evening and then it was just a Greek salad full stop What I liked about it also was that they brought ex amount of dishes and said 'tell us when you want to continue', which was great as we were not rushed in any way. In fact we started at 8 and had the last dish at 11-30
Cant wait for my daughter and husband to come back so I can go again.
