The best steak I've had in Larnaca was in the Tudor Inn, but that was over 15 years ago.

If I fancy a steak I may give Panos a try.

Rolling Eyes Have tried to go to the Tudor Inn a couple of times but it is always closed. It was closed for a few weeks when we were in Cyprus in july. Hoping that it will be open in November when we will be in Cyprus again. Am i thinking of the right place? It is up a little street not far from the fort and it is a quant looking black and white place. Tried peeping in the windows to see what it was like inside. Couldn't really see but the photographs on the outside board looked interesting. Does anyone know if it is still a restaurant and if so what did they think of it? Thanks Zam

The Tudor Inn is still operating as a restaurant.
They close for the summer, usually. They seemed open last week, the lights were on when we passed.
A lot of their trade is forces and ex-pats.

Yes, The Tudor Inn is open . We have been serving steaks for 21 years now and always close July and August. The rest of the year we are open. [ closed on Sundays and Mondays.]

But are you still doing draught Guinness?
I'm sure you did it umpteen years ago. Smile

We've not been for a few years (sorry, other fish to fry, as it were) but maybe next year.

Welcome to CE, by the way.

The Tudor Inn, for the uninitiated, is up an alley (Lala Moustafa Pasa), near the Cuckoo's Nest, up by Larnaca Fort (Makenzie side).

We have never served the 'real' draught Guinness, always the 'draught in the can' version which is quite drinkable and popular. Maybe try one next time your in.
