I have just got back from a week in the UK, I went back as it was our sons 21st birthday on sunday so I wanted to go to his party and see friends and family. My mother had gone in hospital for a knee replacement a week after we came out, she had the knee op on the tuesday and fell in the hospital bathroom on the friday and broke her back!!!! I stayed with my mum and stepdad for the week, not restfull as I had to do all the cooking and spent the rest of the time rushing about trying to see the rest of my family. Went to the Trafford centre with my daughters and bought their christmas presents and presents for the rest of the family. It was lovely to see my children and spend time with them.
I feel much happier now that I've been back and seen that everyone is where I left them! My youngest daughter who didn't cope well when we left was much happier and more settled....neither of us cried when I dropped her off at the train station to go back to uni. I also think having the skype helped us both, after the first few video calls we now don't always bother with the web cam and are happy just to talk. My eldest daughter was offered a fab new job on monday so things are looking up for her, in a couple of months she and her boyfriend can start looking for a house to buy, which they have been desperate to do. My son is back with his girlfriend and is feeling good about things. So all is well with the Weaver family!!!
