Some unkind remarks have been made about Bruce, so I feel I must come to his defence. Little Brucie came here a few years ago accompanied by a nice Indian young man. He started off by offering everyone timeshare. But did you take up on his kind offer? No, you wanted your own house/apartment. So that folded and he then opened an Indian restaurant in Oroklini with a partner. It was off the beaten track and it folded after a relatively short time. Drunk with success he then opened up the Taj on the Dhekelia road and the place next door, later known as the Rice Bowl. Some unkind remarks were made about the Rice bowl (even on this forum). Words like "disgusting" and "rip-off" were used. The Taj ran for some time and Bruce even put an embarassed look-alike Indian rajha on the door to bow at you. But you preferred the Marsala, just because the food was better. Building further on this success, Bruce then opened up another Taj Pavillion in the centre of Larnaca - for a few weeks, anyway, before doing a runner. Poor Brucie. No, not a strine speaker, but he could be downunder now learning it.

oh what a pity. The Taj was my favourite place to go for a curry, surpassing all other Indian restaurants in Larnaca Sad They even delivered to Pervolia Sad

Carollynne: Sounds like you've never been to the Marsala or the Ganga
