Have got a quote for a will for myself and my partner Lyn in Paralimni.
Was told that we have to have a will each. The cost was 400 Euros which I thought was a bit expensive,or is this the going rate?My next door neighbour used their lawyer who done their conveyancing, was quoted
260 Euros cash with no vat.Comments would be appreciated.

Hi Badgerboy

We paid 144 cyprus pounds = 248 euros last year for two wills. It was a fixed fee inclusive of VAT. E mail me for Advocate's name/telephone no if required. He was very nice and no problems experienced.

I was in a certain Lady advocates office on friday in Paphos and was told that if you do not have a will in Cyprus and subsequently die that the Cyprus government take 50% of your estate
Thoughts please
