Just avoid those places. It's the only way to drag them down. Tell everyone. They seem to be trying to be exclusive, so let them.
I think the Brewery is owned by the Varoshiotis Fish Restaurant mob, along with Baileys and others in Larnaca and Nicosia.

heard how expensive it is from my son last year ~ he says he was shocked at the prices they charge .

He usually goes to the sports bar when he comes over on his hols ~ much cheaper Very Happy

Personally the only sea front cafe/bars I occasionally go to are The meeting place or Hobbos and I consider they charge to much .

The brewery seems to be packed every night ( same with baileys ) so someone doesn't mind paying the exorbitant prices.

As I said, if they're going for exclusivity, let them.
Where's the cheapest and good pint of Guinness in Larnaca ?
The Seagull in Makenzie is good and is 4.30 euros

Try the Blarney Stone in Larnaca. It's nearly next door to the sports bar and opposite NEXT. The pub itself isn't much to look at but the staff are brilliant and the do a great pint of Guinness! Can't remember how much a pint is.. could be because I had one too many! LOL No seriously, great place if you're after a good cheap pint.

The Sports Bar (next to Blarney Stone) is also well worth a visit - whether or not you like football, etc. Draught Strongbow is excellent; they do draught Guinness too but can't remember how much. Their staff are brilliant too.
