My daughter is currently attending Ayios Nikolaos school in Vrysoulles but I'm thinking of sending her to Paralimni 4 after the summer term. I don't want to throw her in the deep end where the language is concerned so can anyone recommend a (preferably female) teacher that does private greek tuition? Either in a group or individual.

Also, what is the name of the school just up from Orphanides?

Budaholic,

Hi there - apologies that this post is quite vague but I don't have
all the details of the private coaching to hand but here goes:

There is a young lady called Angelas (sp?) that has a small school in Dherynia.
I have met her on a couple of occasions and she is very nice and comes
well recommended. Unfortunately I don't have her mobile number to hand
at the moment but - she is the daughter of the owner of Davidos in
Pernera. I am sure if you go in and ask they would be able to give you
her direct number. She does 1 to 1 tuition and her price seemed
reasonable at the time though am not sure what she charges at the
moment.

Anyway I hope that at least gives you a start to finding her.

HTH

Cheers

Steve

The Paralimni map says it's Paralimni 2.

Hi Budaholic

Much appreciated Smile

My wife had greek lessons while in Cyprus with Mr Soteriou in Dherynia. He is a retired headmaster. Sorry don't have the number but other members on this site have lessons with him.
Paul.
