Cherry - Can I ask how long ago you were in school or how old you are now? I am trying to understand whether you would have received after school Greek lessons twice a week as my eldest child does, I believe this is something new following Cyprus joining the EU.
I have two school age children in local Greek schools, one of whom was having one to one Greek lessons in the UK before he came over (2 hours per week for around 4 months) but still he only had the basics - although I think it gave him confidence...
I am not confident that home schooling, for my children anyway, would work out as firstly three children under one roof all day can be trying on even the most loving of family's (as I believe we are), I also think its essential that each child mixes with his or her own sex and age group...as my eldest is an 11 year old boy, then my daughter is 5 and the youngest, another boy is 15 months - they all have very different needs and likes...so it would not be practical for them to spend 24, 7 with each other....they all need their own space in my opinion anyway...
Having said that I would hate to think that a few years down the line any of them would feel the way that Cherry feels and possibly resent me and their father for making an awful mistake with their education!?!?
